2. The music library is based on scanning tags embedded in the music files. It ignores the folder names and structure and file names. Proper tagging is essential to ensure the library is populated correctly. Having slight variations in the tags for artist and album names could mean duplicated and unwanted entries. 3 Folder and File Structure.

3. "Unknown" isn't the best choice of word; obviously some people know about these composers, enough to have produced the records, cds, and radio broadcasts where I heard their music. Still, I think it's a useful term for what I'm trying to describe: classical music that for whatever reason isn't often heard, but deserves to be. IMHO, of course.

5. Feb 24,  · I have about 14, mp3's, all with ID3v tags. All with Artist and Contributing Artist set. All of them have album covers embedded in tiocounabudarnoibeauvestcankeyflowat.xyzinfo3 files. Half of the mp3's show up as Unknown artist while others show up as black album covers. I have verified that the correct information is there with MP3Tag. Windows Media player has so many bugs.
